Heavy Duty Clear Plastic Ice Bags
These crystal clear, Heavy Duty Clear Plastic Ice Bags come with twist ties included for sealing. They can also be sealed with a C-ring, bag tape, or tied off. These heavy duty plastic ice bags are available in 5 lb, 8 lb, 10 lb, 20 lb, and 50-pound ice bags and are in stock and ready to deliver immediately. These ice bags can be used with our easy Ice Bagger system to semi-automate bagging your ice. They are made with virgin resins, which are FDA & USDA approved for food contact. EVA has been added to these bags to increase their strength, and puncture resistance, all the while reducing brittleness at ice-cold temperatures of -20ºF.

What additives make ice bags brittle & puncture-resistant?
EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) or metallocene is blended into LDPE/LLDPE to ensure the plastic film remains flexible and elastic at sub-freezing temperatures instead of becoming brittle and cracking.
How many ice bags per minute can a person fill using loose-packed vs. wicketed bags?
If your workers are manually opening, filling, and sealing plain loose-packed ice bags, a fast operator can realistically hit 3 to 5 bags per minute.
What is the best manual bag opener/blower for plain loose ice bags?
