Which dust collector bag fits my collector?
Pick the bag by the diameter of the ring it clamps onto. A 30 inch wide bag fits a 19 inch collector, a 32 inch wide bag fits a 20 inch collector, and a 38 inch wide bag fits a 24 inch collector. Then pick the length for capacity and the thickness for what you collect.

Bag volume is the bag opened to a full cylinder: flat width x flat width x length / 725, rounded to the nearest 5 gallons. You fill less than that, because the top clamps over the ring. Stock # links go to the product page with live pricing and case discounts.
Which bag fits my dust collector brand?
Most single-stage collectors use a 19, 20 or 24 inch lower bag ring. Find your collector below, then confirm the ring size before you order. Models change, and two collectors from the same brand can take different bags.

How do I measure for a dust collector bag?
Measure across the outside of the ring the bag clamps onto. That's your diameter. Choose the bag whose diameter matches it or runs slightly over, and let the band clamp take up the slack. Never go under. A bag smaller than the ring won't stretch over it.
A flat bag's width is half its circumference. To get the diameter, double the flat width and divide by 3.14.

4 mil or 6 mil?
Use 4 mil for sawdust, shavings and small chips. Step up to 6 mil for offcuts, wood that may still hold nails or screws, and metal shavings. For sharp scrap that tears through film, use a rigid liner in the bin.

Plastic or cloth dust collector bag?
Use a clear plastic bag on the bottom of your collector and keep a cloth or felt filter on top. Plastic holds fine dust in and shows you when it's full. Cloth breathes, so it works as the top filter, but fine dust can seep through the weave and you can't see the fill line.

The stock bag on a Grizzly G0548Z is 20" in diameter and 41" long (500 mm x 1040 mm). Our 32" x 40" 4 mil bag, PB43240, is a direct fit replacement.
